Jean-Jacques de Gournay holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Paris II Assas and a DESS in Finance from the University of Paris V.

He began his career as a key account manager at Paribas (Private Banking), then moved into asset management at CPR AM, before joining Lazard as Head of Institutional Clients and Distributors.

He was appointed Managing Partner in 2010 and Managing Director in 2016.

He is now Senior Advisor to Lazard Frères Gestion, a director of Areas Assurances and the Fondation de l’œuvre Croix Saint-Simon, and a member of the Supervisory Board of Matignon Finances.
